Meet Your Trainer – Mike Derry PCQI FITOL
Mike Derry PCQI, FITOL is a highly experienced lead auditor, trainer, and ISO 14001 sector manager with nearly 40 years of expertise in quality, environmental, and health & safety management systems. He has played a key role in the implementation, auditing, and training of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
For over 20 years, Mike has designed and delivered industry-leading training courses, including IEMA and IRCA registered programs. His qualifications include:
- Practitioner of the Chartered Quality Institute (PCQI)
- Fellow of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (FITOL)
With his extensive knowledge and engaging training style, Mike ensures that participants leave each course with the confidence and skills needed to implement and audit ISO management systems effectively.
Meet Your Trainer – Donn Houldsworth FIIRSM FBCS CFIOSH CITP CEng MITICP
Donn Houldsworth BSc (Hons), CEng is a highly experienced certification professional, lead auditor, trainer, and management systems specialist with over 35 years of operational, technical, and leadership experience across quality, environmental, health & safety, information security, and business continuity management systems.
Donn has held senior roles within UKAS-accredited certification bodies, including Competence Manager positions, and is currently the Managing Director of 3core². He has extensive hands-on experience in the implementation, auditing, governance, and continual improvement of ISO management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 20000-1, and sector-specific schemes.
For more than two decades, Donn has designed, delivered, and led high-level training and auditor development programmes, supporting organisations, auditors, and consultants across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, logistics, construction, chemicals, FMCG, critical infrastructure, and regulated environments. His training is underpinned by real-world audit experience, regulatory insight, and a strong focus on competence, credibility, and practical application.
